Heyy Everyone,
Just Wondering If Its Worth Turbo Charging My VL Berlina. And How Much It would cost.
thankz
depends what cond your vl is in
depends how far you wana go with it
you can buy standard turbo conversions for around $1000 and if your good with the tools it aint hard to bolt it up your self.personaly i hate n/a converteds if rather spend i lil more and buy a whole motor
yeah my vl is in good condtion for its age i drove it back frm qld about a a month ago she went like shit off a shovel. but yeah im looking from somthing over standard wth more power you no what i mean?
smack an injected 5 litre in it from a smashed vn... :P
if ya can do it yaself then go ahead ....easiest motor to turbo imo
GOON: well i was wondering something around 9-10 psi....
6-7psi on a high comp setup is eqivilent to about 10 psi low compression setup
haha man if you want cheap power, you have the right car for it. ive seen guys make all the components themselves and only purchase the turbo and a few guages etc... and they went fine.
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
PM with any info.
I just wanna jump in here and say my name is Phil, I drive a berlina and I was born in '88. I thought for a second I had an imposter!
Carry on as usual.....
