some one help me!!!!!!! i need a tail shaft

i have been building a rb30 turbo ute but i cant find a vl turbo manual tailshaft... can some one help? or point me in the right direction?

pout week to late my friend im sure you could look on a scrap heap on the mid north coast maybe you will find the one we scrapped

you can get one made around 450 from hardy spicer they make em brand new or you can get a front and a rear off vl tailshafts but you need to measure from the trans output shaft to the centre bearing mount then from there to the diff yoke i know coz put a vlt diff in my car every one said get a vl v8 tailshaft itll fit chased one up ***n hard to find didnt line up so back to the wreckers lost 20 off to another wreckers with my old tailshaft they found a vl rear that happened to be the same length as my vk rear sweet got them to put it togther they did a good job no balancing required put it on ***n sick so thats my 2 cents good luck

but there is. i first got a n/a manual box to put in but then come accross a turbo manual box for $150 and couldnt help but buy it. (being stronger) i sat them side by side and found that the out put shaft size's are way off. the turbo shaft is about twice the size of the n/a. hence why im looking for a turbo manual shaft. the length is the same but the yolk is bigger.

Go to U- Pull it at elizabeth.. Went there yesterday and there was a white VL manual wagon there with one still in it.. And before people ask the wagon and sedan ones are the same.. Ive put them next to each other and they are exactly the same.. cos the VL wagon and sedan are pretty much the same wheelbase whise..

And the tailshafts are the same, cos ive also had N/A And Turbo ones, cos i have a turbo box in my N/A VL, and everything matchs up perfectly
