Turbo transmission. Keep or toss?

I have a transmission from my old VL calais turbo.
2nd gear is gone.
Is it worth hanging onto for parts, or should i throw it in the bin?

Turbo 700's are not all that cheap, you'de be better off selling it or get a rebuild and keep it as a spare, nothing better than spares that are expensive ones, I've alway got a Trimatic ready for the VH and scored a rebuilt 700 when a mate closed his auto shop down for the VZ.

If you are going to chuck it, throw it my way.

Yeah, it's the Jatco.
It's just taking up space.

if you are going to throw it, offer it to someone on the forum, even a blown box has a lot of usable parts.

yeah i would be selling it. possibly get it fixed first as you'll get more but may not be worth it. someone somewhere will want it.
