Doing up my 86 VL wagon

Ive got a VL wagon and am wanting to replace a few things on her and do her up.

3.0L 6cylinder auto

So far
1) pod filter
2) sound system

Mods Im going to do are
1) Extractors
2) exhaust
3) shocks & springs
4) wheels
5) shave all the side skirts
6) replace the rear and front bumpers with chrome
7) re-spray

Would anyone be able to recomend good brands for these mods and is it even possible to fit chrome bumpers on her?

the only chrome bumpers i know of would be vh vb or vc.keep it simple lower it,rim it drop a 5spd in her and keep her legal nothing worse then getting your daily defected

i have never seen chrome bumpers and dont think they are availible for the vl's
if you shave the side skirts ther will be an indent where they used to sit im pretty sure like on the early commies that you see

thats what ive got pedders sports ryder
lowered a bit and nice and firm have a look at my profile pic if you like
just ask around and go to some local suspension shops and get to know them and have a relationship with whoever you go ahead with so that way if it breaks you will probably get out if it better if you get me

yea ive got the paint sorted is going to cost me about $350 all up in thinners and puttys and paint ive already got all the gear to re spray her but its the last thing on my mind at the moment i want to finish the engine off first

Im going to spot weild the screw holes that the side skirts leave so it has that nice line to it and gives it a tidy finish but im not sure what im going to do with the rear bumper.

Im going to ring some dudes up and ask if they can maybey build some custom chrome side skirts and that any idea who even makes chrome in australia?
