VL Dash Problems

Hey all... was just wondering if any one could solve this problem. Every time i brake the whole dash lights up and as soon as i stop braking they turn off. But now when i turn on my lights the dash wont light up unless i brake and they only stay on whilst im braking.

Have you added anything to the car

short somewhere?
