battery terminal problems

I often have loose terminals and dead electrics on my VL despite tapping the terminals all the way down on the battery and tightening the nut and bolt, theres concetina stuff inside each terminal which has perhaps been squeezed in over the years, losing its elasticity

does anyone know of a fix for this problem?

ive swapped the nuts and bolts before and it helped.. or maybe your right about the terminals age..

I just replaced mine with better 1s. An look's better.

ive seen people use a screw to hold it on lol, it works pretty good if your after a cheap solution

lol that sounds like bush mechanics style, pull a screw put of the car somewhere n use that lol

Been bush a few times from the look of it...
I just paid 10 Bucks and got some shiney new terminals,
They look alot better as well..
