front end noise. bearing??

when the cars runnin in neatural it makes like a girgling and whirling noise and when you put the clutch in it goes away? it happened to my old gearbox. got it replaced cos it had no 5th or reverse haha but got a new one and it still does it?
any ideas at all?

did you change the spikot bearing, from auto to a manual one and could be the thrus bearing

front gbox bearing.pretty common iv found

can either pull the box now or leave it till it gets worse..

my first vl did 25thousand ks like that it never got louder

if i took it to the place it got the reco box do you think theyd do it for free or discount haha how much am i looking at an what bearing is it harvz?

its the bearing thats on the shaft of the front of the gearbox
it gets pushed against the pressure plate so that the clutch works or is on in other words
cheaper to do yaself you only have to by the bearing slide the old one off and slide the new one on

haha cheers ill speak to the place that done the gearbox and see if they will do it cheaper or just a quote. if its to much ill just do it myself
