welcome it looks nice
the front and rear window openings were left as bare metal and rust under the glass is a problem
get an engine imobiliser as VLs are very easy to steal, Ive inscribed my license number on all my panels and the floor of my VL
stay with us
all plastic including the bumper bars is probably very brittle and breaks easily
Haha cheers mate, do you believe its value for money? and immobilizes do shit when they drag your car onto the bed of a f350 with a winch.
Want more power for your rb30? Heres some answers!! The Hot Tip!!
Harrys right VL's are the number 1#commo stolen!!
man that sucks so bad about ur ss. i couldnt imagine how angry u would have been. should weld a tracking device LOL to that vl so if it gets stole u can get the f**cks. i think i would kill someone if my stato got stolen.
VR STATESMAN=PIMP
Small world indeed. lol This is my VL.
But I'm swapping my VL for k3zbangs auto VS.its party time! woohoo lol
Sure is, happy swap went though today, two happy people... now how do i rip off the top of the engine and replace the injectors?... time to start pulling it apart all ready.
hey mate i'll email ya the instructions sent to me to get the injectors off easily![]()
there aint nothing wrong with immobolisers if they are good quality...i lost my keys one day and couldnt get it started...called raa 2 hours later and he had two other raa vans there and still couldnt hot wire itim stoked with mine
so the cop gave your stolen car back to the thief????? wtf ......seriously i'd be taking legal action
whats the difference between my missus and my blower??
well they both whine but the blower actually puts out
haha, 3 RAA vans and couldnt get it moving, lol.
I have a rhino- I think its really good, the central locking with keyless entry makes it look pretty pro!
Only cost like 300 to get it installed, did the central Locking myself, not too hard
You can also put in a fuel cutout switch, one saved my brothers VL when he was at work- he heard a car turning over for like 10 minutes and not going, so he went out to help, the guy in the car said he didnt want help and was "picking the car up for a mate". He mentioned it was his car- he pulled a knife, my brother ran inside to get help and he was gone when he got back. He had a club lock on the car, which the guy nicked off with... so the 45 bucks saved his car. He also must have had the right key- no sign of breaking in thru the door or hot wiring- pretty scary :S
anyways, thats my rant, and also a bit on why I hate those who steal/ break into our pride and joy.
Immobiliser and fuel coutout all the way!
Tim
I am currently, Police offer that i spoke with about the whole thing (The one who gave my car away) said that i had informed him that i had sold the VN to this guy. He is trying very hard to cover his ass so before i can lodge for any legal action i need to make myself in the clear and prove it was the police officer's fault... taking its time... in away im thinking of scraping the idea.. car in there eyes would only be worth 3-5 grand so thats all i would get back from the Police.
3-5grand is better then nothing , if legal action is taking to long try to strike a deal with the cop.... surely they must of confiscated a nice car recently
whats the difference between my missus and my blower??
well they both whine but the blower actually puts out
Haha... its honestly not the money or another car, i bought that car at 15 years old... and put so much into it... had people try and roll me over it... slept in it.... lived in it... hooked up with the first girl in it.
Putting it all behind me, and time to start putting some time and love into this VL... i pulled off the plenum today and changed the injectors over.
Still running atad lumpy needs a tune and i wouldn't know where to start.
gregorys manual.
Hmm I bought some maneul cost me fifty bucks got a fair bit in it, the tuning screw on the back of the plenum is what I been playing with but need a tacho meter, the more time I spend on it the better it's running.
well look at the ODO its got 371478 Kms on her
She done a few.\
sucks to hear about the SS that is just shit... why do ppl do it fkn jelous low lives.
Mate I got it already, great car still plenty of go for a old car, took down to the skid pan and still rips fat ones in first though to second, no mods yet either, and still needs a damn good tune.... Idling rough,
Only milk and juice comes in 2 litres.
rough idle??? hows the plugs/leads etc
fuel filter/fuel reg/dizzy cup and rotor/AFM/CAS etc etc
make sure ur clamps are tight around the air intake, leaks can cause crap idle behind the afm.
Work work work ATM haven't had much play time, and I'm now kicking myself i didn't replace the spark plugs and leads while i drained the cooling system and took off the plenum.
Will get around to it all very soon, currently taking out front window to reset/anti rust it while I'm there... doing the same for the back after.
Also building a vent sub box for an alpine type R 12 inch i have lying around, measured and rated to 2 cubic feet so will go very hard and nice... willing to give it to someone who is willing to come and give us a hand fixing up the idling issues.
Only milk and juice comes in 2 litres.
plugs/leads take no time and u dont need to remove anything...
use a Uni joint on cylinder3/4(under intake piping) no probs :P
what state u in??
i already got 3X 12" subs in boot. ha dont need any more.
****##BLEEDING EARS##****
Im in the capital of Porn, Fireworks and legal weed....
And its Saturday! yay no work i was having a fiddle checking some things, and all is tight and on... CAS is clean no dirt or anything... but when i take off the computer lead behind the air box that goes onto the air intake it idles fine and runs awesome...
Any ideas? its not leads or sparks.... and all is tight.
Only milk and juice comes in 2 litres.
