Second of all, check your Battery terminals, make sure they haven't come lose.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!

crank angle sensor or air flow meter.
flat battery.. could be alternator/starter motor
wen i go to start the car the reds come on and they're strong and it will crank but wont start..... i've check the battery terminals but nothing wrong there i really thing its my fuel or something along those lines.... wen i got the turbo put in i didnt change the fuel pump to suit the turbo so it was spitting out the same fuel as if it was still n/a
plus i cant haer my fuel pump anymore pushing fuel through
Probably up for a new Fuel pump then buddy.

but ive already put a new one in and still nothing....
crank angle sensor.... sometimes they cause the car to stall when it warms up and othertimes they die with no warning. Its a common VL problem. Mine died with no warning one time when i was sitting at the lights... 2 hours later finally got a tow truck.

interesting one. First off....the fuel pump for the NA VLs and the VLTs are the same....both pumps. Should not need changing unless BIG power is being had but your mechanic would have advised you of this. So your fuel pump is not the issue here... Now, the CAS (Which I know you said you already changed) will cause a car to fail VERY quickly. First off, it won't tell the dizzy to fire and it won't tell the fuel pump to prime (that sound you first hear) Is the new CAS to be trusted? This is a VERY common failure on VLs. I have bought three from wreckers...two of them bad. So, unless it's new, I wouldn't trust it.
Air flow meter is not the issue here, nor is the O2 sensor
Does the car have a factory tacho? If so, when your cranking the engine, does it bounce up and down as it cranks or does it just stay stationary? If it just sits there then you have a dead CAS...yes, your new one is dead. Unless the car has a Camshaft position sensor which I have not found on mine...
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
im leaning towards the CAS as well.. and as stated"common" problem.
possibly be your inertia pump (Intank Fuel pump) failing
i just want to make sure its the cas as im a single mum and dont have alot of money to spend but i need my car.....
if you cant hear the fuelpump check the plug on the electric wires thats under the floor near tank
Under Car
under the boot infront of the fuel Tank.. lay on ground and shimmy under car.and check electrical wires at pump,,(between axle and fuel tank)
ok wat am i looking for with the wires.... do u mean see if they are split or broken or wat????? sorry it might sound dump but can it be fixed
Check these plugs making sure they are on tight.(refur Picture)
and check your fuel pump relays and fuses

hi im having the same problem i just transplanted the full running gear out of a berlina and it all worked fine before i changed it ... any sugestions????
if all is well under there im backing the CAS causing the problem as Tasmaniak has stated
Run a diagnostic on the ECU and let us know what fault codes you get
a how too is here http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/...&#entry4509921 Goodluck
my money is still on the CAS
