    Default VL Calais Turbo Series 2

    Hey guys might of just brought a vl calais series 2 turbo with intercooler

    the turbo is a garret turbo it has 50 on the housing

    guess how much it is!

    depends on condition bruz all the usuall..
    mechanically sound no rust. does not need too much work in the furture...
    A/R.50 on the housing is ratio of compressed air.

    Im going to use the turbo and motor in the walky and maybe turn this into a convertible maybe just leave it the way it is,

    there is no rust in it, but the guy had 20's on it and cut the inner lip out of the rear guards so it didnt scrape, but all in all im basically just getting it for the engine turbo setup and calais front. I have the 2 shells that im doing a deal with him, i give him them and i pay less for it!

    No such thing as a series 2 VL, or series one for that matter

    it is a/r 50
    and it also has M12 wirten on it too

    Whats block got to do with it? VLs have running updates, motor included. Meaning technically an 88 model would be a series 4

    You must have missed what i said. Holden don't designate them series one and 2, PEOPLE have adopted that system (usually worked out by the shape headrests you have) which is wrong

    if you look directly into the intake of the front turbo housing normally the housing will taper narrower towards the impeller

    if its consistant and doest taper its more then likly has been high flowed to fit a bigger front wheel

    not sure what you have, looks to be bigger then you usal t3 but that might just be the intake pipe throwing me off
    measure how wide you intake is

    That turbo on ebay has a bigger compressor housing.

    if so why would there be water in it???
