HELP!! my vl is broken

HI i just droped a 1988 berlina engine and gearbox into my 86 exec everything worked just fine in both cars before i did the swap now the fuel pump wont prime . i checked the fuses and solenoids but cant find anything wrong.. oh yeah im a noob at this its the first time ive ever done it

does the fuel pump run when the ignition is turned on?

might sound silly but did you unplug the computer if you did make sure its plugged in correctly! otherwise no fuel pump but you will still get dash lights!

when ignition is on the fuel pumps will prime the system and get it up to pressure for starting.

i checked the computer and it is connected securely and i checked the power to the fuel pump there is nothing i have fuel in the tank so it cant be that.. i dunno'??

i found out what it was it was the series 2 loom in a series 1 car so i did what this link said and it worked ecu not work/ series1 car series2 loom - calaisturbo.com.au
