hey guys the radiator fan in my car is about to fall off literally (the clutch is gone) and i happen to haev a spare thermostatic fan under the house which looks like it would fit nicely. i have no problem modifying mounts and stuff like that, but just wondering is there any issue with changing the fan i should know about? obviously checking very thouroughly that its working before going any great distance, but anything else?
thanks in advance...

No real issues provided you have the clearance and wiring to do it, like a thermatic switch etc. You'll notice your engine spools much smoother and more powerfully also. Glad I did it.

cheers, seems theres some added benefits i didnt expect thanks.... yeah its a complete setup so shouldnt be a problem... will let you know how i go
hey finished install didnt take that long fairly easy to do just some custom mounts... everyone should do this!!! makes the car so much smoother & quieter... also could swear its more powerful but hard to tell when its quieter... hey jetspin, the fans not actually thermostatic just electric, atm mines just wired up so its on when the cars on but i would like it to be on like a thermostatic fan just thinking can i wire the power lead to a temperature sensor somewhere to achieve the same result? also which sensor and so on... any help would be good... thanks
