5speed cost

ive lost 1st,2nd and reverse sidchrome, the question is do you think it is worth paying to get it fixed or should i buy another box from the wreckers? also anyone got a price of another 5speed?

Ive got a whole 5 speed conversion for sale asking about $400 so a box alone should be cheaper than that.

Synchro's are really a pain to fix, (reverse never had a synchro, in any car)
Take it to a mechanic and get a quote, or learn to drive without synchro's!

i took the box to the transmision place and he said he will crack it open and have a look in afew days , with luck im wrong and its something quick easy to fx, but knowing my luck its a big problem and gonna cost me lol
