    Default Air conditioner Repair

    Hi guys.
Just wondering, when i try to turn on my air con, it doesnt even look like working lol... all i hear is a sound that i can only describe as gas escaping? It sort of sounds like a hissing sounds if that makes sense... I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me what the problem might be ? and what i need to fix it ?

Summer is coming... lol and i don't want to fry.

would be a vacuum hose from behind the unit has come off
undo 1 screw retaining air control panel under left face vent in centre
unhook heater box rod and unit should come out

if u unplug the connector you will be able to pull it out a bit to get behind it,..
there is a vacuum disk looking thing with all pipes coming off it about and inch long. then you will have about 6 vac hoses coming to these pipes (one vac feed and the others goto vacuum controllers inside your air plumbing for opening and closing flaps.)
these vac hoses control all your vents as in directing air to say feet/ face /demister etc etc..
    goodluck man

it should be moulded on to the valves at the base on the control unit.
Mine had the hose numbers flaking off so it was trial and error untill it worked right,,
Have your fan going and the main vacuum line in(longest Barb on the unit.) .... then just attach one hose at a time and use the slider on the device to determine what hose is what and move it to the right position...
    u will work it out...
    Goodluck
