flutter

hey. when i start the vl up, put my foot down and theres a slight flutter but once it gets over the flutter it sounds fine. wat could this noise be

yer nah no turbo...yet. but yer just wen ya stand on it it makes a fluttery noise for about one second then its ok.

could be a few things and vl are known to have that stutter/slight flat spot on acceleration.
i would suggest clean out dizzy and inspect rotor arm and contacts inside cup.
clean or replace plugs
inspect leads as well (replace if necessary)
fuel filter change
clean out throttlebody(take off car and completely clean it get it shiny)
or further clean intake runners and plenum as well
also check air filter (replace if necessary)
afm setting not too rich
electrical plugs/contacts clean and not corroding.
run some injector cleaner through it
AAC valve functioning correctly as in inner pin not sticky
fuel reg working correctly
i would think once gone through this list you should get on top of that stutter/flutter

this is what i do when it gets a bit funny

is your exhaust manifold leaking or at the flange?

mine makes a odd noise when it starts cold, but it's just because the oil hasn't properly circulated yet. I wouldn't worry about it.

r u talking about a tapping noise when cold???
thats lifters till oil gets up to top of engine..
need a clean and fresh oil :P
