Cant undo cat convertor bolts.
Having a real hard time trying to undo the cat converter bolts, used heaps of wd40 and still wont even turn! need to get it undone cause im replacing the stock manifold with some extractors. Anyone got some advice on how to get these bolts out?
heat the bolts up with an oxy

Heat the CAT up not the bolts. Apply the heat to the side of the flange where the bolts go through, get it nice and cherry red.Originally Posted by black as

cheers guys. got them undone now. extractors are installed, but now the fking car wont even start up!

got the oxy sensor and all in mate, have you pulled a wire of somewhere by accident??
could you post a photo, I didnt think there would be enough room for extractors
they usually give more noise and heat under the bonnet but no more power

heaps of room for extractors..
noticeable amount of power/response as exhaust gasses are removed faster and not restricted
