is it straight forward?? like would i kill myself doing it haha
it runs real good on gas but i want it on petrolcheers
and the gas system looks like its 50years old
Knowing very little about gas systems I cant tell you much, other than be careful.
Before removing anything, there is a valve on the gas tank you MUST turn off.
Also you do realise you will have to change some cooling system hoses.
Assuming it's running straight gas, why not run petrol/gas?
turn tank off tightly, whilst engine running to remove all fuel in lines, then you're a bit safer... is it duel fuel?
im trying to run the gas out im thinking thats the safest way. it never runs out though 7hours on almost empty its shitting me
petrol doesnt work i think the fuel pump is gonee
i just dont want the gas so i can remove the entire drivelineee
there should be a knob on the tank, turn it off... whilst engine running.
by turning the knob off on the tank it should kill all gas flowing out of the lines, if it doesnt then you have a problem, once its all out just a process of removing all associated gas components. Just be smart about it, dont smoke anywhere near the vehicle, nor should you anyways. If in doubt, take it to a mechanics

eh. stuff it ill find a way to remove the bitch, cheers guys
no worries - you may regret removing gas though - my vl gets 450km to 55L of the stuff!
i have to remove it either way.. im taking the entire driveline out
one flash and you could be ash ?????
Not that bad! Don't forget that there's a gas system computer and wiring that's linked to the car's own ECU. You will probably find dodge wire connectors (gas fitters don't know how to do anything right!) and you might have to be careful how you remove them for fear you'll sever a wire you need somewhere.
The fuel pump may well be worn out. Most gas systems fitted to these cars have a default to start on petrol. Then the pump, I'm told, remains on while the injectors are shut off, so the pump does a lot of work. Worse, you don't notice the fuel level is getting down so the pump is working without enough fuel running through it and it overheats.
Been there... done that!
I also don't know why you'd want to ditch the LPG, big fuel savings and not much power loss?
And we have licensed plumbers and electricians for what ???? and licensed LPG fitters why ???????
i want to remove it
acid bath the motor drill n tap turbo lines
60,000 geniune k's![]()
for every1 with duel fuel, just put a switch for the fuel pump relay.. easy as, and that mean's ur not wrecking fuel pump...![]()
