Multiple problems + stuff needed for my Berlina

hey guys.
as i stated im new here to the forum and have a coupple of pics of my car up in the show off your ride section. ill just list the problems im having when the car was bought and the easyest way to fix them or known problems etx...

1) the odomoter has stopped. a mate said it was electric so what would be the way to fixing this ?
2)i need a very good berlina drivers seat. ill post it up on wtb aswell....
3)washer bottle isnt holding water. i filled it up and pressed the button i hear the motor noise but no water comes out. ill need to check if the little holes are blocked but water is most likley leaking from the bottle so ill need a new one if anyone knows where the cheapest place to get one would be ?

thats all i can think of for now.

1. odomoter is mechanical, you can take to a shop to fix or do it yourself

2. goto wreckers and ask around mate you never know

3. Ebay is a good place to get parts cheap but can be expensive at the same time so be carefull/ also wreckers mate, i would flush it out, blow compressed air through the lines and see iff you can unblock it/ try a needle in the squirter holes

wreckers man, for washer bottle etc
unplug the hose at the splitter T under bonnet near wiper motor to washer bottle and press window washer squirter c if water comes out of hose. if so the jets are blocked. or u have a leak where the motor goes into the grommet at the bottle
, as for ODO its driven by a cable from trans may have stripped the little gear in behind the cluster it is only plastic and becoming brittle as the L's are up to 23 years old now..

the washer bottle and connector the T accually wasnt connected. my fault for not checking that buy water was probably going everywhere in the engine bay so thats fixed. ill have a look at the speedo cable and the plastic bit on the back and probably replace both if they seem to be looking rather secondhand just to save time for next time.

some parts dont sit for long either mate, if u see it !

get it while its there, some wreckers crush cars in a week or less. With ebay bid at the last min, save ur dosh!
