Sorry, lowering topic again

I got some nice 17" chromies recently and of coarse i need to lower it now. The problem is ive got scraping on both sides at the back already (one side more than the other but still both) Which means an adjustable panhard rod wouldnt do jack to stop the scraping.

I've already lipped the obvious spots on my guards but it still happens. The offset of the mags musn't be that great. So my question is has anyone had there gaurds flared out?. A bloke quoted me 500 bucks to do it. I'm wondering weather its worth it

500 bucks sounds reasonable.. What tyres are you running, width of mags and size of tyres.. 500 bucks seems alot especially when you run the risk of cracking the paint.
