My vl wagoooon

So....
I wanna sell my 1988 manual VL wagon.

But....
It wont let me do it on here yet.

So....
Ill just write some stuff about it on here.

But....
Its nothing special. Pretty bad actually.





Okay so its a burgundy 5speed manual wagon.
Unregistered, definatley not roadworthy.
Drives perfect, i just drove it from melbourne to nsw & back with no problemsss
Has a defect.
Needs a new windscreen, bonnet, boot, ignition & could do with tyres.
Dash/door trims are sprayed white, which now looks pretty s***.
Could do with new carpet..
Missing a side strip thing-o.
No leaks.
It has a calais dash
Central locking hooked up through the alarm.
Done around 200XXX's.

Anyone know roughly how much i'd get for it??


I have been offered $1500-$2000 for it, but not sure what its really worth

we get this all the time on here.....
basically depends man on overall condition. you have given us a brief rundown.
then there are factors like Rust in the usual spots.
how sound the engine really is, like if oil changed regulary, not been thrashed(hard to find in a vl)
Coolant flush and bleed properly
Mods if any
trans if its needing a reco etc etc list goes on..
could suit somebody for a nice project
get some pics up bud and other members will comment as well

She has some rust around the rear window, not too much and just surface rust.
Needs a new paint job, its not the best.
SHe just got a new engine in October.
And may seem hard to believe, but she hasnt really been thrashed, i bought the car off a 40yo man, and now i have it, im only 18 and un licenced lol but im a girl so i only do a couple of burnouts thats it.
Hasnt acutally been stolen either!
Broke down on McClelland drive in karingal and someone tried to steal it, but got nowhere!! hahaaaah.
Im a bit embarrassed of her..

without pics it is hard to tell, however from your description if someone has offered you 1500+ take the money and run.

get some pics up and we all go from there but if it was me and by the sounds of it, it needs work so i would of taking the money and ran too but ey some fully sick bloke might pay 2500 if ya lucky
