Quick help wheel fitting & sizes.

hi guys. i just won a pair of rims off ebay. hoping to put them on the vl it doesnt seeim it.

anyway they were $130 bucks for 19"
the info is as follows.

Advanti Racing tyre rims_qty 4_used

type: S166 18x8 JJ

size: 19" x 9" (500mm x 230mm)

lugs: 5 x 114.3 690kg

any help will be grateful on how to get around it or something i just dont want the wrong size rim on the car and causing more damage than needed.

ok lol lets make some clarifications.
the wheel pcd is 5x114.3 which i bought and im sure most people on the forum know commies (vl) is 5x120mm. what i need is where to get an adapter or something like that or would it work out cheaper just to buy the right rim ? as i said $130 for 4 19" avantis

You need to get the right rims, think about how much it is going to cost to convert your stud pattern to a different one and how much it would be to sell the wrong rims and get the right ones.

I have to apologise for my first post - I genuinely thought someone was having a laugh.

First of all....

Are they 18x8" or 19x9"? You have listed both sizes in your first post.
If they are 19x9" then they are too wide for your car anyway...

The stud pattern is wrong and needs to be 5x120 not 5x114.3 (Ford, Mitsubishi etc etc)
Since they are 5X114.3 the offset is probably +35 - For Holden Commodores you want about +45 - so again.. not gonna work...

My advice... forget about the wheels, put them back on eBay and let someone else WIN them for $200...make yourself a profit.

Trying to fit these wheels IS NOT easier than finding the right rims..

hi mate, in the listing it has both sizes. i havent accually paid for them so im waiting to see what the buyer wants to do but i bought another pair of rims just then. $200 for concept 5 rims.

225/45/r18 = michelin $95ea. speed rated 270km/h
