well i found that my fuel gauge is not reading the correct level because i thought that the tank was a 47L tank but since found its a 63L tank and that means i still have atleast a 3/8ths of a tank when my guage is just above empty so does anyone know how to fix it from a false reading
I dont think many if any VL's have a reliable fuel gaugei know mine only works when its full sometimes otherwise it never does. Im just going to go to an auto electrican and pay for it, its so impractical filling up everytime you dont need to and worrying about running out. It could be the sender unit inside your tank or something?
i always fill full tanks and go by fuel gauge + kms, usually stays pretty consistentbut yeh there old cars ay
my fuel gauge is spot on i tell ya. 20+ years in electrics is gonna start failing.. most of the time its the float level variable resister causing the probs
i made a how too on another site on this matter when i had my vl on the road worked verry well. if you have spair time and know how to get the cluster out and can use a soldering iron ill send the link
