I read on a topic in here that there are very little differences between formula pack and standard.
Could someone point out what differences there are between the 2 so I know what mine is.
I read that somebody said about the interior being blue. I have a 1986 VL Executive and the interior on the doors are blue vinyl, they are still the original. Is this standard with this model ?
Please could somebody shine some light on to this for me as I have never heard of this formula pack until I began reading these here forums.
mine has the blue. its not a formula. im pretty sure it says on the complate if its a formula.
nah my formula is white with a grey interior, it doesnt say formula on the compliance (Spelling?) plate thingo, coz it was a dealer fitted option as far as i know
formula interior is blue, with door trims same. my seats say formula on the headrest. and around the whole car is a red and green pinstripe with decals on front left and right doors that say formula. thats how i know mine is a formula.
Yes it is a formula.
I just looked at it and she has a Pinstripe decal down the side with the holden badge just behind front mudguards.
mines not a formula mate and it had the same pinstriping, assume its something you could buy aftermarket as well.
put a pic up we'll have a look..
Sorry the pics I have at the moment arent the best but the pinstripe that runs along the doors is red and dark blue and says Formula with the Holden badge. The interior of my car I havent got any pics sorry. But it is a blue Vinyl and my seats are blue aswell.
i dont think that formulas only came out in certain colours, mine being white with a grey interior...also my formula doesnt have the rear wing but has side skirts....however formulas could be optioned with certain options not only as a complete pack but as a 'bits and pieces' pack so to speak. Mine originally came fully loaded i believe however the front spoiler has been removed somewhere along the line, and it has no rear spoiler. my car also i believe had some options from hdt as on the boot i can see outlined a sticker saying 'enhanced' and my mate said that before my car was de-badged and de-stickered it had some hdt aswell as formula stickers on their so formulas may have had some type of link with hdt aswell. anyway sorry bout the long msg lol
dude i didnt realise it said formula on the car lol. fair indication its a formula mate.
from what i can gather they had coded bumpers and a sticker saying 'formula' ive never heard there are any outstanding differences in either power nor resale.
