How hard is it to change a tps? i got code 23 on the ecu whilst running through the idle setup procedure,
i have a complete intake manifold with all the bits on it so i thought i should swap the tps over and see what happens,
so yeah what's involved and what should i look out for?

unplug it and unbolt it
new one on inplace without turning the inner slot and slide it on
done and dusted :P
Sounds easy, i just had a look at my spare intake manifold and the tps i have on it only has 1 plug, the one in my vl has 1 plug and 3 wires with another plug coming out of the top of it,
whats the deal?

hmmm i have the 2 plugs as well,. dont now why ur spare only has 1 plug...
a bit weird
I believe one is from manual and one is from an auto..
ahhh righto :P
so manual is 1 plug auto is 2?

im tipping so yeah man. auto would read to tps as well
i just re-read your first post. did u cancel this code 23 while u were doing diagnostic as in press throttle all way to floor and release, u get this code and need to cancel it
as well as neutral start switch(which is cancelled by moving shifter into gears and back to park)
they all do this. if u did and it still comes up in next loop of light sequences then proceed in changing it
