how can i get more power out of the vl without putting in a turbo
stupid new laws prevent me from having that any help would be appreciated
Basically nothing its only a 3L naturally aspirated motor.... Its not going to go hard without forced induction.

the only was is to do alot of work on the engine itself i got a quote for a twincam conversion which would give me a 300hp strong n/a motor but is was around $7k and anymore power would need to be forced
Give it a good service to start with..
advance the timing to 20 degrees
make sure the a/f meter is tuned within its parameters
get a set of extractors and a 2.25" exhaust
And if its an auto.. may aswell not do any of the above because a stock manual will still be faster and better on fuel,,
track down a manual conversion
do a search its been covered many times
yer i just got the exhaust done and then was told that extractors are illegal
but thankz for the tips think i may search for the manual conversion or rebuild
the auto locks up on each forward gear
the nissan engine revs out and will do 200kph which should be more than enough for presumably a young inexperienced driver
a set of premium tyres and an advanced driving course will keep you alive and with us longer![]()

extractors arnt illegal.. i got over pits no probs with extractors.
save hard until you get full liscence.
and lol at that 300hp n/a mtr if thats at motor that makes it around 180 rwkw and thats never gona happen
the nissan engine, with the mf5 will do 200km/h in 4th, with a gear and a few thousand revs to go![]()

stock diff
1st- 70ks
2nd-125ks
3rd- 160ks
4th- 200+
and so on
they move when you make em rev, then again that vl was a freak and went like crazy compared to the 2nd one with the same set up...
stretch of private road is i spose...2k long? enough to get off the clock rolling start no worries and stop again
