removing headlight

seems you have to remove part of front bumper top trim to get at headlight bottom screws

can this be done without removing front bumper bar?

can anything be used to replace the bumper bar top trims on front and rear, the original plastic ones usually fall apart due to sun damage and the VL looks untidy without them

has anyone found a substitute?

it can be done if your not too worried about your paint and what not
i use to remove only my top centre mould and grill before to get my lights out

but now i take it off properly with my car,
bar off first
sides moulds
grill then centre
depends if your parinoid :P

you can get aftermarket moulds, the TYC are a good make of non genuine stuff. just make sure your happy with the product before you get it painted
