had motor and gearbox out, now its all back in my temp gauge aint working.
any ideas on whats causing it
is the wire connected to the temp sensor, located on top radiator hose housing.
Nobody wants to play with me
yes it is plugged in
give you cluster a bash....
without breaking it haha
could be sticky
maybe u severed a wire while putting gear back in
ok cheers il try that when i get a chance
het gave cluster a bash didnt work bought new temp sensor didnt work any other ideas plz
does it go on and off? mine does the same thing, except 50% it works and 50% of the time its on empty lol
na temp gauge doesnt even move off cold
check the wire on the coolant temp sensor housing.there are 2 1 is for ECU and other is for Gauge...
the 2 pin plug is for ECU and the single wire with the spade connector is the gauge...
possibly be the gauge itself...
go aftermarket
sorry to borrow the thunder, but if the guage goes on and off, aka, to cold, then to warm, when the car is warm already, what would be causing this? is it just the guage?
cheers but gauge not moving at all stays hard down on cold all the time
it's probably the gauge itself.
Nobody wants to play with me
thermostat? im not sure
not thermostat as this opens when it gets to temp like around 84 degrees the thermo in a rb30 opens to let in cooler water from rad
not the signal for the gauge....
sounds like gauge then....
or could be bung sender,, trial and error bud like i said go aftermarket gauge...
