looking for place to work on my car

Hey guys,
my name is Tim and i have an 86' VL commodore SL 3.0l RB30E 4 speed auto. I am on uni break until the 22nd of Feb and was wondering if any other VL enthusiasts in Perth had a w/shop with one of those car jack ups so i could take bits off, do some repairs and clean her up. I dont know that much about cars so if you have any knowledge and could assist me maybe we could work something out. Id be willing to do all the work if someone could show me a few things and id pay the person for their time and use of the w shop.
