New Cam

Ok so as per my other post about the timing i got it all to work and now my car runs, drives and stays on by its self...

I have put in an alleged stage 2 cam with unknown durations n such but my car idles at roughly 900 to 1000 where it used to idle before the cam but the idle has such a lope, like it idles like a serious race cam..

I was thinking i know when installing new cams you have to advance your timing my cam timing is set to stock position, and my ignition timing is set to 15 deg BTDC as per stock, but if i try and advance my ignition timing to say 17 - 25 it wont run..

So should i advance my cam timing? before the cam i was running 1 tooth advanced and my car ran beautifully went like a shower of shit too, so maybe thats something i need to try anyone got any advice..?
