308 gearbox

hay im doing a convertion on my 308 holden calais 1988 but wanting to change my auto gearbox to a manual one what typ of gearbox can i do this with an how would i find a bowlhousing for it ?

I presume you have a Trimatic??? If so you could get a T5G (Brock T5) or a normal V8 T5 and get an adaptor to suit the trimatic pattern. Another common conversion is to use a Supra 5 speed. Dellow and CRS both do kits.

Might wanna post in the name change thread, if its a factory stock VL, it will be a 304, not a 308

hey yeah have been told it is a trimatic, also would lik to put a lsd into it, would you know if a hq diff or something will fit

was originaly a rb30 but have taken the 308 out my other car to put into the calais
