Default VK Group A bonnet scoop on a VL

Hello. Im new to the VL scene and i have a question. Ive searched but i couldnt find an answer. Im thinking of putting a VK group 3 bonnet scoop on my VL Calais.

It shouldnt be any harder to fit to a vl than a vk right?

And second will it look any good. Anybody done it before or got any pics?

    Cheers Andrew

no i dont think it would be hard considering people have put them on newer models,
and try it and tell us if it looks good

    No.

I am a fan of using the bodykit that came with the car. so group 3 VK on a VK and group 3 VL on a VL.

and never VT on a VN-VS.

i dont think it will look right personally...

There is a ridge in the centre of a VK bonnet that doesn't exist on a VL.

Hmm thanks for the replies guys. Im not much of a traditionalist so mixing and matching doesn't bother me IF it looks good. Reaper thanks for the pics. I think the line on the VK is a problem but nothing a bit of of sanding and filler cant fix. If anyone can photoshop it for me that would be great

this has got to be the most childish comment I have seen for a long time..........
photoshop gives an idea and impression of what it MAY look like as a rough guide as to weather the OP would go ahead with the mod, instead of spending MONEY to discover he doesn't like it. DERr!..

Yeah, but none of the ones i see look any good. Which is the idea, to give an idea of what it would look like. I had a look through the photoshop thread, and i wondered why everyone said 'get someone to chop it' because they really didn't look good in the slightest. I had a few people do one of my car before i had black wheels, and i almost didn't get them because of how shit it looked. As you can tell by my DP, they actually look awesome, so i'm glad i didn't pay any attention to dodgy photoshop

(there, is that more 'grown up' for you)
