Opinions on this buy?

Hey guys/girls. I just joined but been reading for a while.

Im thinking of buying an 88 Berlina and is has as follows:

New Blue metallic paint, Dyno tuned cam and chip pack, pacemaker 2,5" ex, 16" wheels, big sound system, 136000 k's (apparantly) immobiliser, 12 months rego and new tires. Looks real nice and will soon take it for a drive. He is asking 6000 for it, but i dont think many will buy it for that considering its mods. Any thoughts? Anything i should look for?

VL Turbo's are not cheap when they are in good condition because they're not exactly common, the price you pay is a reflection on how much you REALLY want that car.. Someone who didn't REALLY want that car would not pay $6k for it.

EDIT: Sorry, misread, it's not a turbo.... You can get a VR-VS for that money!

It's not a vlt though.. 6k is how much I paid for my old SL - resprayed, manual, extractors and 5speed, 2.5" exhaust and stereo. That was in 2001 with 16" Rims.

So i'd say its a bit cheap, considering I just let go of my 5 speed turbo conversion. With pursuities for 5,600.. If you ditch the turbo gear.. Thats 4,100 for the car itself.
