vl engine problems

hi guys Ive got an 86 vl executive,its when i start the car its running fine i give it a bit of a rev but after 5 mins or so i rev it and sounds like a 2 stroke motorbike, can any one help?cheers

have you changed plugs, leads, rotor button, cap, fuel pumps??

if so could be your CAS (Crank angle sensor) found in the distributor, maybe the plug to this and plug to coil etc etc
