4.11 Diff Rebuild

Hey everyone, My VL is off road for a while.. it needs a diff rebuild, which i was quoted at $1400 . And thats dependant upon the crown and pinion being fine. If not, its going to cost more.
I seem to think this is a bit much, anyone else had rebuilds or maybe think this is a bit steep too ?

for a good diff rebuild, if its lsd your looking around that mark with diff gears

Hmm okay, well I think i mite look at a second hand one, would that be cheaper ?

possibly but then you cant guarantee the condition of it.

Cheapest way would be to get a open wheeler diff, put 4.11's in it and a mini spool.

too bad 4.11 and mini spool is illegal...
I'll just keep thinking it over and decide which way im gonna go, thanks anyway.
