Today i helped my mate change his fuel filter over, cuz he was having troubles getting fuel into the engine, and it didn't sound all that loud when you turn the car ON. We replaced it, got the car started but the external fuel pump(i think) is making a pretty loud buzzing noise. Is this normal...Checked it with my other mates VL, his does it but not as loud, and i just couldn't hear mine(not quite sure if it's quieter, because the exhaust is pretty loud under the car). It just didn't seem right. When we went to leave the car was idleing like shit engine had real bad wobles, and spurted shit out of the exhaust onto me leg what a f**ka.

Also we couldn't get his headlamps to work...looks like an auto electrician had done up the fuse box with some bolt down fuses sorta things after the light fuses merged themselves together. Tested across it, wern't getting a reading on the multi-meter so we bodged up contacts across a spade fuse and still nothing...relays clicking over and everything. High beam works(all lights).

And mine...bulbs are fine swapped them around...same with relays (out of the other car). Headlights are fine but when i click it into highbeam, drivers side headlight dims and the high beam on that side won't even turn on. Other side works fine.
This all might be a little too much to digest, but any info would be great. Cheers
