hey guys alot of people on here know my black calais turbo i have.i have four cars now and have no space and i need the oney to finish paying off my weding thats later this year.
i have roughly advertised the vl but havent realy pushed its sale but ive been thinking if i should strip it and part it out?
what do you guys think?and what prices do you think i can get for the gear?
this is a rough list of what the car has
1986 Series 1 VL Calais Turbo
it's black over silver.
it is a factory turbo calais,not factory black,super straight, no rust, no dints, no scratches, just a couple of stone chips at front, deleted door locks.
reco bottom end at some stage 0.5 over sized.[seen 20thou km of boost]
block been sprayed gloss black.
all new gaskets:thermostat,water pump and both manifold gaskets.
new thermostat
new acl race series copper head gasket.think 1.6mm thick.[not fitted]
wade 818b cam shaft
head has been cleaned,crack tested and faced.
new rottor button.
new plugs.

is $9000 to much these days for a modified vlct with rims and paint?
hopefully if i sell just my silver vl turbo i may have enough for the rest of my wedding.so if i get to keep this im going to turn the boost up and go run some times.
what you think i could get as a rolling shell minus rims,motor,trans and ecu?

if u wreak it i will buy alot of stuff off you
like bumpers, front grill, interior part, maybe auto etc.

that may be a price you think its worth but i doubt you will get that much have a look at the vl turbos for sale on calais turbo for that price range as an idea, and looks specificaly and how long theyve been advirtised and if theyve sold

If you do Strip it and sell it as a rolling shell, how much you looking for roughly?
i would sey $5000 on cop rims.
this is the sort of prices id be hoping as they have to total $8500 if i wreck it
$5000 rolling on ceptors[sounds expensive]but the bay is smothed and paint is beautiful.it would cost $5000 just to paint it alone i reckon.
$1500 for gts rims.[not a must to sell]
$2000 turbo conversion including plenum,gtr injectors,turbo,manifold,intercooler,microtech
i have a buyer for it rolling
so i may have my full drive line for sale if any ones keen
