Default some door probs, and wheel question

the stuff on the door hinge. ill assume it was grease at one point now feels like play dough. i know thats wrong.

    should i

A: scrape off what i can see and put new grease on there

B: take the door off and take all grease out and redo entire door with grease in appropriate places.

    secondly
how would one chrome his wheels. ie pursuits.

    third.

there is a rattle in my driver door. when i hit it or if my music is up loud it rattles. its kinda like a rattle snake sort of sound. not sure exactly how to describe it.

if noone has any idea. ill let you knwo in 2 weeks when i put in my central locking

Hmmm I assume one would take ones pursuits and dunk them in ones earlier prepared chroming solution Sorry, being a smart arse, I'll be curious to hear this also.

grab a cheapo can of chrome and go nuts on them. its seriousely all pusuits are worth.

knowing your history with getting things done on the car VLACs i would reccomend leaving the door on the car and spraying some catspiss on there.

the rattle in your door is most likely the little tin security plates. they tend to rattle. i just put the smallest bit of silicone filler behind it. if it sticks out too far itll hit your window as it goes up and down. youll see it when you get in there to do your central (which i thoguht you did like 3 months ago.....!>!?!)

good stuff lol yeah sorry i assume when something is bought for the car ti will actually be installed!!!!!

catspiss is another commoners term for RP40 and WD40 and all that sort of spray on lubrication. i assume it gets is name from the colour and the way it pisses out of the can....

hahaha goodbye chicken. goodluck with the position.
if it makes you feel better i started with no knowledge and a couple of screwdrivers. youll learn heaps having a go, general commonsence and problem solving, with a little reading or prompting and youll be a diy expert in no time.
