    Default thermostat

    hey any auto elecs out there, i have installed an electric radiator fan on my vl, ie not connected to the clutch, but need it to switch on and off when the car reaches appropriate temperatures... any wires that i can hook it up to to get said result ie. thermostat?

    you need to get an adjustable thermo from auto parts place , the sender fits in the top rad hose and you set it to come on at just past where your temp normally sits...

    went down to autobahrn today, they said they havent stocked those in years because they were really expensive and nobody wanted them... they suggested try mr radiator or some specialised place but thats the only way your gonna get one and they'll be exceptionally expensive... will ring them up but sounds like i might have to find some other way...

    mate i reckon i have seen them at the likes of supercheap for less that $60..... they are out tehre.////

    I thought VNs or VPs had electric fans and sensors as stock - cheaper alternative to buying a new sensor/thermostat
