    Default V6 conversion

    I am fitting a V6 into my VC and I am using a VL fuel tank and fuel pump. What I would like to know is what is the purpose of the damper fitted immediately after the fuel pump? Is it necessary?

    OK I found out what the damper is for, it is to take care of any pulsing created by operating the two pumps together.
    Is it necessary and what happens without it?
