when i accelerate it sort of stutters and takes a couple of second to get going, but once it does its fine, until i have to stop again.
any ideas as to what the problem is?
The car is an automatic.
does it do it when its warm and cold?
yeah usually when i start the car, goes away after warming up
see if u can get ya hands on another AFM (air flow meter) try it out and see if that fixes it
does it make any slipping noises at all?
and are you gettting revs when you accelerate and its slow to move?
sounds like AFM to me,
stutter on take off also could be a few things afm/ plugs/ leads/ dizzy contacts/rotor dirty gummed up inlet plenum and throttlebody caused by oil which vents into plenum to be burnt from PCV as well as other things, fuel filter, bad fuel, Vacuum leak,dirty(gummy/blocked) AAC valve etc etc
process of elimination and start with cheapest thing first

what detox_nath83 has said is spot on, it could be a number of things and start with the cheapest and easiest first, try afm and clean the inside of your throttle body, it's amazing what a difference it makes.
