hey guys im new here as you can probably see. Im 19 nearly 20. working a pretty good job.
im running a 92 vp at the moment, duel fuel (nothing special also).
which comes to my text point.
im picking up a VL next week for $750. body in good condition, $350 worth of repairs there and its fixed. (bent chassis. quoted for and guaranteed, or possibly a slab). the only thing mechanically wrong is the rear bearings. it has a 2 and half inch exhaust up to the cat(most likely change it completely or do the extractors on it). and pod filter. nothing special. also coming with a set of VR Clubsport rims. it is an Auto at the moment. but looking for a manual gear box setup etc for it. it has chopped springs, not sure what sort. but I'm taking them out and getting it professionally lowered. as i don't like the look of a car that's been "dumped" on its arse.
i plan on spending between $3-6000 on it over the next 6 month due to loss of license (LOL).
im planning on working it so i can drift it on track.
can you give me some pointers on what i should be looking to do.
diff set ups, etc. weight reduction all that jazz.
also looking for a body kit. and place to respray the car. =]
and a new set of rims. as the VR ones are nice, but don't really suit the VL.
also wanting it to be street legal. i am 19 on red P's
let me know your thought's, for red P's or off them (just state if whether i can or cannot get it on red P's)

the guy Paid $150 for em. he chucked them on the car for an extra $100. but ill let you know. i might just put them on the VP i have also.
but if not they are all yours. will know when i get the car![]()
ok if you want kit/rims and paint theres all your money gone there let alone making it have decent power to drift.
bent chassis?why not just buy a decent vl to start with
Start off with a good base, so maybe look around for a better condition VL.
tis all good
not getting it anyways.
let me know if anyone finds, or knows of anything worth looking at. cheers.
