Thinking of building a VLT

As the title says, i'm thinking of building a VLT. I'm chasing power around the 200-250rwkw mark. My main goal is 225rwkw.

I've had a look around here and there and found the website called Snort Performance.

They offer a 200-250rwkw STAGE 2 turbo kit from $2,999 plus shipping.

Has anyone heard anything about these kits? As i'm fairly keen to run one in a VL.

Also, does anyone have any tips when it comes to building a 200-250rwkw motor? I am quite mechanically minded and have the tools required. I'd also be building a turbo motor from an N/A motor as it would work out better for me.

your going to need decent injectors,ecu etc.

dunno bout that turbo kit but for that money i reckon you could buy a decent gt35/40,manifold plus plenum for round that price and its going to be a sure thing.

my turbo is only hi flowd with couple other mods but has made 260-270 before on a skyline

if you just want the status and probably a noisy pop off valve, OK
but if you ever use the extra power, expect transmission and rear axle problems
