You can get good catalyictic enhansers from many places, i saw on a current affair one for a bout $400 that really did enhance km's. The best advice you'll get is to accelerate slowly, try to avoide having to take off and start again...like highways a good way out... Have balanced wheels and tyres. More revs = more fuel. Go figure.

I get 360k's and that was only ripping it twice (had to show some ricer what was goin on) I was smooth and gentle with that tank and did country k's as well (100kms) My car might need a tune it may not be burning the fuel efficiently,

i saw some heater for injectors recently that warms the fuel up and hence vaporizes better, saving up to 20% fuel, was some genius in melbourne, either A current affair or one of those doccos

SIMBAD ive seen that too. i think someone was discussing it here a while ago cos they are selling them on Ebay.
its kind of like a povvo turbo. forcing air through the inlet faster. it didnt get a very good rating and the power/economy increases very tiny if anything.

My air filter was orange and is black now, so if i change that, that should help, and then i reckon getting some new injectors!! but yeah that vaporate thing might be a great idea, i can't belive they arnt on the mighty VL *disapointed* well in time they will have to!!
What else can you do.... ummm a good tip for fuel is getting other people to chip in when u go out! :P i do it all the time, cause The VL Wagon is the cruise master!!
keep posting in this one cause Fuel is going up and we have to do everything to make fuel costs as low as possible!! cause i dont have a full time job yet so argh i hate paying $1 sumthin for petrol!!
If anyone in sydney wants to have a look at my Wagon give me a PM and u can have a look and give me some advice, as this is my first car and i want to make it last
