[Question] Wiring up Interior Light Neons To Headlights

Hello,
Just bought some interior light neons over the internet, waiting for them to arrive soon hopefully. Wondering how would i go wiring it to the head light so when i flick the lights on, underneath the dash where the pedals are will light up.

with the neons, 1 of the wires is earth and the other is power, wire the earth to anywhere and the one for the power of the neons just wire straight into your headlight switch champ

Ah sweet as man, any ideas how to take the indicator handle off, cause thats where the headlight wire would be aye?

yeah, under ya steering the 2 plastic covers there, 3 screws underneath and pull the bootom one out. there will be 2 black plugs there its one of the wires in that!

Hey i know the thread is getting on. But how would i go about doing the same thing, but attaching a on/off toggle switch so they arn't on all the time? Thanks for any help

easy as mate , one wire power the other ground. jut hook it up to your ciggerate lighter , im pretty sure the borwn is power and black is ground. then simply put a switch on the power wire somewhere

in regards to the toggle switch, cut the power wire and simply attach the wire on each end of the switch if that makes sense, it will stop the current going through

just solder a wire from the switch you want to your headlight +12 which is under your steering wheel. a multimeter will help you (or a 12v lamp that goes on when current is applied)

then solder the other switch wire to your neon positive wire, and ground the neon negative. too easy. by doing this the neons will only be on if your headlights are on AND your own switch is on, a handy set up.
just be careful in how much load you put on your 12v headlight switch, as it's only designed to carry a small load to your headlight relays. might be best to implement your own relay, any questions just ask
