    Default 6x9's in parcel shelf

Just wondering if anyone could help me out on this one. No speakers in the parcel shelf of my VL but there is the 6" holes in the metal frame. If i was going to drop the 6x9's in the holes and use a spacer, would this kind of spacer be big enough?

first of make your self a good mdf shelf[12mm] from memory then make your own spacer so you cut no holes and you get max potential from your system

I have thought about making my own shelf but i don't really have the time, hence why i was thinking of just dropping the magnet into the 6inch holes and just using a spacer.
Does anybody use or know anything about these kind of speaker boxes? I've heard that they reduce the sound quality, is this true? if so by much?

its up to you but youl never get the potential from the speakers.

you can have clear half decent base with a good parcel shelf or ratly tiny sound with spacers
