vl vn 5.0ltr

hi to you all, long time reader first time threader, sorry but i need help i have been bulding a vl berlina with a vn 5.0ltr in it we have rebuilt the motor from the ground up and on the way up we put a 248 cam in it but now we cant get it to run good the motor has k&n filter,cold box,headers,big boar exhuast and a stage 4 memcal it runs reel rough and wont idle and when we get close to idle it runs rich and fowls plugs can any body help with if have we set the cam correct ?

mate i would be checking the temp sensor. when they go they can make the car run rich and foul plugs.

and a tune... give the dizzy a turn.use a timing light and set it to spec

assuming you have dialed the cam in correctly....

when you say 'stage 4 memcal', is that the memcal the cam supplier provided ?
If not, it's highly likely the memcal isn't calibrated to suit your chosen camshaft, which can cause the engine all sorts of problems
