is that common problem? ( LEAKING OIL )

hey guys
my vl leaking oil badly, i have been taking out timing belt cover and i saw oil all over the place.
does any of u know how to fix it?
also one of my injector leaking petrol and air(not working) so the car is shaking....how much does it cost to replace?
are those common problems on vl????????

leak from the top or bottm, sounds like a cam shaft or crankshaft seal. No drama.

As for the injector, you could replace the o-ring or my suggestion would be to get the injectors done m8, cost $35 an injector.

not too hard, you idealy need a seal remover but u need something with a sharp hook on it, a coat hanger is way to soft but if you pierce the front of the seal with a small flat blade screw driver and then pry it off, should do trick. Dont go digging for china, you only need to pierce it 5mm.

Dont scratch the crankshaft where the seal lip is, otherwise it will tear it a new one very quickly when you put the new seal in. Best to start diggin from the outside edge nearest the timing cover.
