hey all, i have recently brought my self a vl commy, i am doing it up as a skid car.
When i got it, the guy said that it just needs fuel to get it going, i got it home and put fuel in, wont start. did a test on the injectors and they were F***ED. i got a whole other manifold and replaced the old one, but now ti still wont kick over, the injectors are working, the fuel pump is working, but it still will not kick over.
Any help would be great.
Thanks Mike.
Crank Angle sensor mate would be your best bet...
and go over every electrical plug with some inox or wd40 etc as well as check under rubber boots on plugs to see if the wire is still crimped to spade connectors and to look for corrosion...
but try wiggle the plug on the dizzy(this is the CAS plug)
i agree with the crank angle sencore it the a comen problem with vl commodores myn went on myn i just got a new dizy well now starter mortor is gone hahhaa good luck man
