I was reading through the Gregorys Manual about my VL and I noticed there was a part in there about handbrakes. It mentioned sumthing about a "Handbrake Light". My car doesnt come up any light when I put the handbrake on, does any1 elses or have I mis-intreptreted the information???
I think you'll find that book covers Calais aswell, and the light would only be fitted in the calais dash. All i can think of really.Originally Posted by Aussie_Watto

you need to remove the top cover of the dash to get at the globes theres a row of them along the top
there are 2 screws under black plastic bits that pull out
I think most cars have H/Brake warning light, but anyway my light was intermittent, the contacts on the switch were dirty and sprayed a bit of CRC on it and has been fine since..Originally Posted by Aussie_Watto

RIP Peter (perfect) Brock....
So if I take off the 2 black switch box things that have the wipers and demister on them the dash cover will just pop off, and from there I just check the bulbs.
