the turbo VLs have stiffer springs to cope with the extra power dont they?
how hard is the ride, is the car comfortable?
are the V8 springs the same?
I thought the v8 springs were slightly stiffer due to the heavier front. But as far as front and rears I'm not quite sure on the differences, if any between the vlt and vl.
Aftermarket lowered springs are fairly cheap these days either way.
All VLTs were fitted with FE2 suspension and 15inch wheels, which basically means its about an inch lower and slightly stiffer (police suspension they still use it today) and factory towpack as well I believe (which is what I've got) to help with the heavier loads put on the ass end.
I believe the front springs in a V8 are heavy duty V8 items.
is the FE2 suspemsion still reasonably comfortable on bad roads?
